Seat Belt and Car Seat policies

In Town: All seats and wheelchair tie-downs are equipped with seat belts, and all passengers are encouraged to use them while riding in the bus. The driver is required to use his seat belt. State law does not require transit vehicles to restrain children in car seats, but parents can provide their own car seats and secure them if desired.
Out of town: Minivans are used for our out of town trips. All vehicles have seat belts, and the accessible vehicle has wheelchair tie-downs and seat belts. Drivers and riders are required to use seat belts in these vehicles for out of town trips. Age appropriate car seats and booster seats are required for infants and small children (up to age 6 and/or 60 lbs.) to ride in our out of town vehicles. Parents must provide the appropriate restraint or restraints for their children and install them prior to rides.
